Staying Logged In on Your Mobile Device
If you're finding that you have to frequently log back into the software when using your phone or iPad, it's likely due to your device's browser or system settings. These settings can automatically clear cookies or restrict background activity, which causes you to get logged out of the system.
Follow the steps below to adjust your mobile settings to help you stay logged in.
iPhone or iPad (Safari Browser)
Safari may be set to block cookies or clear data too often. Here's how to update the settings:
-
Open the Settings app on your device.
-
Scroll down and tap Safari.
-
Make sure the following settings are disabled (switched off):
-
Prevent Cross-Site Tracking
-
Block All Cookies
-
-
Scroll down to "Advanced" > "Website Data" and check if your site is listed. If not, your browser may not be storing it. Try logging in again after updating settings.
Tip: Make sure you’re not using Private Browsing mode, which automatically forgets your login info when you close the tab.
iPhone or iPad (Chrome Browser)
If you're using Chrome instead of Safari:
-
Open the Chrome app.
-
Tap the three dots in the bottom right, then tap Settings.
-
Go to Privacy and Security.
-
Tap Clear Browsing Data and make sure the "Cookies and Site Data" option is unchecked (or only clear it manually when needed).
-
Return to Privacy and Security and tap Do Not Track — make sure this is off.
-
Don’t use Incognito Mode if you want to stay logged in.
Android Devices
Steps may vary slightly depending on your browser (Chrome is most common):
-
Open the Chrome app.
-
Tap the three dots > Settings.
-
Go to Site Settings > Cookies.
-
Make sure cookies are allowed and that “Block third-party cookies” is either off or not set to delete cookies frequently.
-
Stay out of Incognito Mode, which won’t remember your login.
Bonus Tip: Add the website to your home screen and use that shortcut to open it. This helps ensure it opens in a regular browser session, not private or restricted mode.
Still Getting Logged Out?
If you've updated your settings but are still being logged out frequently:
-
Double-check if your phone is closing unused browser tabs automatically.
-
Ensure your device software is up to date.
-
Try using a different browser temporarily to compare behavior.
If the issue continues, reach out to our support team and let us know which device and browser you're using so we can help further.
