Customer & Property Details Are Live!
Customer and Property Details have a new look!
Previously, Customer and Property information shared the same Details page. With this update, Customers and Properties now have their own dedicated pages, making it easier to understand what information belongs to the Customer versus the Property.
Separating these areas also gives us room to continue adding new features and information to both.
This update includes:
- A new Customer Overview
- A new Customer Activities timeline
- Customer-level Notes
- @mentions and comments for better team communication
- Better Property ownership history
- Customer-level Statements
- Easier Customer Portal access
- New navigation patterns you'll begin seeing throughout Contractor Accelerator
Project Details is next! In the next few weeks, Project Details will be updated to follow this same general layout. We've already updated some of its navigation so you can begin getting familiar with the new experience now.

Quick Walkthrough

Our 8-minute walkthrough covers the new Customer and Property pages, what's new, what moved, and the basics of navigating the new layout.
Customer & Property: What Changed?
Previously, Customer and Property information was combined on the same Details page.
Now, each has its own dedicated space:
Customer Details focuses on the person or company and their overall relationship with your business.
Property Details focuses on the physical location, including its ownership and Project history.
The relationship between your records hasn't changed:
Customer → Property → Project → Bid
What has changed is how that information is organized and how you move between it.
New Customer Overview
Customer Details now opens to a new Customer Overview, giving you a quick look at important information without requiring you to move between several different areas.
The Overview includes information such as:
- Most Recent Property
- Open Tasks
- Open Projects
- Customer Info
- Recent Activities
You can interact with information directly from the Overview or use the circle-arrow icon to jump into the full section.
For example, you can complete an open Task directly from Customer Overview or open Customer Tasks to see the full list.
Tip: A Customer can be associated with multiple Properties. The Property displayed on Customer Overview is the most recently engaged-with Property. Open Customer Properties to see the Customer's full Property history.
New Customer Activities
The new Customer Activities timeline brings important Customer communication and activity together in chronological order.
Activities can include:
- Notes
- Emails
- Texts
- Tasks
You can filter Activities by type and see more information about what happened and when.
You can also open an email directly from Activities to see its content, open associated attachments, or resend a failed email.
This gives you a much clearer picture of what's happened with a Customer without having to search through individual Projects.
Customer Notes & Team Communication
Customer-Level Notes
Notes aren't just for individual Projects anymore.
You can now add Notes directly to a Customer, allowing important Customer-level information to stay with them across multiple Properties and Projects.
Notes can also be pinned when you need to keep important information easy to find.
@Mentions & Comments
Your team also has a new way to communicate inside Contractor Accelerator.
Use @mentions in Notes and comments to call another user's attention to something. Tagged users can receive a Notification Center and/or email notification based on their notification settings.
You can also comment directly on an existing Note instead of editing the original Note or creating a separate one.
This makes it much easier to keep the conversation together and see who said what and when.
Better Property History
One of the biggest benefits of separating Customers and Properties is better visibility into Property ownership and history.
From The Customer
Customer Properties now shows Properties the Customer currently owns as well as Properties they previously owned.
If a Property has been transferred to another Customer, you'll still be able to see the previous Customer's relationship with that Property.
From The Property
Property Details focuses on the location itself.
From there, you can see:
- Current and previous Property owners
- Projects associated with that Property
- The history connected to that location
This allows the Property's history to stay intact even when ownership changes.

Customer Statements & Portal Access
There are also a couple of helpful changes inside Customer Info.
Customer Statements
Previously, Statements were available at the Project level. You can now create a Customer-level Statement that provides a summary of billing across multiple Projects.

Customer Portal
Customer Portal access is now available from Customer Info.
We've also added an easy way to copy the Customer Portal link, making it simple to paste the link into a text message or share it with the Customer another way.

Finding Your Way Around
You'll start seeing the same navigation patterns throughout the new pages. Here are a few things to look for as you get familiar with the update.
👀 Know Where You Are
We've made tab names more specific to help you quickly understand what you're looking at.
Instead of generic labels like Overview or Activities, you'll now see names such as:
- Customer Overview
- Customer Activities
- Customer Projects
- Property Owners
- Property Projects
- Project Overview
- Project Appointments
- Bid Details
- Bid Line Items
If you're unsure where you are, look at the page title, breadcrumbs, and tab names at the top of the page.
🔗 Use The Breadcrumbs
The breadcrumbs at the top of the page show how the records you're viewing are connected.
As you move through the system, you may see:
Customer → Property → Project → Bid
The item on the far right represents the record you're currently viewing.
The breadcrumbs are also clickable, giving you a quick way to move back through related records.
For example, from Property Details, click the Customer's name in the breadcrumbs to jump directly to Customer Details.
📑 Use The Tabs
Tabs show information related to the record you're currently viewing.
For example:
Customer Projects shows Projects connected to that Customer.
Property Projects shows Projects connected to that Property.
Click a row to open the Details page for that specific record.
⋮ Look For The Three-Dot Menu
Need more options or looking for something that used to be somewhere else?
Look for the three-dot menu at the end of table rows or in the upper-right corner of a Details page.
This is where you'll find additional actions available for that record.
➕ Look For The Blue + Button
A blue + means you can add something new, such as a new Note or Task.
A circle with an arrow means there's more to see.
For example, Customer Overview may show your Open Tasks. Click the circle-arrow to jump into Customer Tasks and see the full list.
You can also reach the same area using the Customer Tasks tab.
