Warranty Certificates can be sent via email from the software. The email includes a PDF with a cover letter and any appropriate warranty certificates. Users click the Send Warranty button within an accepted bid to select the appropriate certificates to include. This is usually done after a project is complete and payment has been received.

Cover Letter Via Setup Wizard
The Warranty email includes a PDF containing a Cover Letter and any warranty certificates pertaining to the project. The Cover Letter is a templated document, so your team doesn't have to rewrite the same thing every time. We have provided some sample content for you. Please review and edit the text to fit your needs. Primary Users can edit this content at any time in the Company Profile.
- Click the Setup button at the top left of the screen to open the Setup Wizard.
- Select the Warranty step.
- Click into the text box and modify your letter using the text editor.
- Use the toolbar to add formatting and personalization
- FX tags: Insert an FX Tag to pull in specific information unique to each job, such as customer name, address, salesperson, etc. Just click on the FX Tag button and select the type of information you want.
- Preview the cover letter with the preview link in the upper right of the template and click close to the editor.
- Click Save.
Cover Letter Via Company Profile
The cover letter generally thanks the customer for their business and outlines any additional steps you need to inform them of.
- Primary Users can find the Company Profile by clicking on the user icon in the upper right corner of the screen and selecting Company Profile. (To find the user icon on a tablet or mobile device, select the 3-line hamburger menu on the top right of your screen.)
- Select Warranty on the left side of the screen.
- Click into the text box and modify your letter using the text editor.

- FX tags: Insert an FX Tag to pull in specific information unique to each job, such as customer name, address, salesperson, etc. Just click on the FX Tag button and select the type of information you want.
- Preview the cover letter with the preview link in the upper right of the template and click close to the editor.

Manage Warranty Certificates Via Company Profile
Add, edit, preview, or delete a Warranty Certificate. Warranty certificates are emailed to customers along with a cover letter.
Add a Warranty Certificate
- Primary Users can access the Company Profile from the User Menu Icon (upper right)
- Select the Warranty section from the Company Profile
- Scroll down to the Warranty section and select the Add Warranty button.
- Click into the text box to add your warranty certificate content.
- Use the toolbar to add formatting and personalization
- FX tags: Insert an FX Tag to pull in specific information unique to each job, such as customer name, address, salesperson, etc. Just click on the FX Tag button and select the type of information you want.
- Please contact support if you would like assistance formatting your warranty certificates.
- Preview the cover letter with the preview link in the upper right of the template and click close to the editor.
- Click Save.
Edit Warranty Certificates
Edit a previously added warranty certificate.
- Primary Users can access the Company Profile from the User Menu Icon (upper right)
- Select the Warranty section from the Company Profile
- Select the Edit button.
- Edit name, page orientation, or warranty certificate content.
- Save.
Preview Warranty Certificates
View the warranty certificates as a customer would see them.
- Primary Users can access the Company Profile from the User Menu Icon (upper right)
- Select the Warranty section from the Company Profile
- Select Preview on the warranty certificate you would like to view.
- Zoom in or out with the tools on the right of the preview screen.
Delete Warranty Certificates
- Primary Users can access the Company Profile from the User Menu Icon (upper right)
- Select the Warranty section from the Company Profile
- Select the X button to the right of the warranty certificate content to remove it from the system.
